MARKETING LEADER · LONDON
15 years building brands and marketing engines from the first hire, across fintech, mobility, energy and AI. Here is some of the work.
CASE STUDY 01 · CONNECTED KERB · CMO · 2020–2024
Connected Kerb builds on-street EV charging for UK councils, businesses and drivers. I joined as the first marketer at 13 people with a dozen chargers; the company grew to 150 and 5,000 chargers.
Demand from councils jumped from dozens of chargers to thousands. So did the competition. Incumbents and new entrants were copying each other’s models and marketing, and to drivers, charging felt like a commodity. We had to stand out before the market consolidated.
“Become the #1 public charging network in numbers, and #1 in people’s minds and hearts.”
Picked the agency, rebuilt the brand framework, identity and guidelines, and set one simple promise.
Relaunched the website and app, then took the new brand live at the Fully Charged show.
Built a team of 11 across brand, content, demand generation and consumer growth, backed by specialist agencies.
The old brand sold hardware. A charging post on a pavement, and a logo that looked like a device.
The new brand sells what charging gives everyone. Connection, for good, one charge at a time.
After the relaunch, the website converted more visitors.
CASE STUDY 02 · CONNECTED KERB × HARRIMANSTEEL · UNRELEASED CONCEPT · 2023–24
In 2023 the UK media turned on electric vehicles. Instead of arguing with the headlines, we decided to make fun of petrol.
EV adoption is growing, but people are still stuck on petrol.
Switching feels like too big a jump.
Make electric the obvious choice, and petrol look archaic, outdated and slightly absurd.
Compare electric to petrol, tongue in cheek.
One simple copy structure. Just like petrol, except for some very important differences.
The core poster and social platform.
We did not have a big media budget, so we designed for that. Every idea was built to be photographed, shared and picked up by press, with councils and partners amplifying it locally. Planned budget: £150k for production and delivery, launching Q2 2024.
The campaign was ready to launch after the rebrand. Delays to government LEVI funding hit the whole sector and all spend was paused. It remains one of the ideas I am proudest of.
UNRELEASED CONCEPT, NOT A LIVE CAMPAIGNCASE STUDY 03 · EV.ENERGY · VP GLOBAL DEMAND GENERATION · 2025–2026
ev.energy is a Series B grid flexibility company working with utilities in North America and Europe. Its story still said “smart charging app”. Its product had grown far beyond that.
Utilities buy slowly and carefully. They could not see how our products fitted together, or why we were different from other platforms.
Led the narrative, messaging, naming architecture and brand guidelines in-house: one platform, Eve, with four clear product stages.
Rebuilt the whole website with one in-house designer, using Claude and Framer.
Built the front end of a new customer platform in Lovable. It became the blueprint for the product roadmap.
AI-NATIVE MARKETING
AI drafts. Humans decide and own. Here is what that looks like in practice.
One shared knowledge base feeding agents for account briefs, competitive intelligence, persona research, messaging and segmentation. Built on Claude, HubSpot and Notion.
Every document carries a clearance tag. Agents can read the knowledge base, but only cleared work can be published. Humans validate and own the output.
Pitch decks and proposals built with Claude and Claude Design, plus AI workflows for RFPs. Turnaround went from days to hours.

ABOUT / THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
I’m French, London-based, and I’ve spent 15 years building marketing from the first hire in companies turning complex technology into everyday choices: payments at GoCardless, car sharing at Zipcar, Ford’s Chariot shuttles, EV charging at Connected Kerb and grid software at ev.energy.
I care about ideas that earn attention, and numbers that prove they worked. Budgets from £100k to £4M a year; the work ships either way.
